Erin Conlon is a St. Louis–based commercial artist specializing in graphic design, illustration, and animation. With a deep appreciation for visual storytelling and intentional design, she approaches every project as an opportunity to create work that is both engaging and impactful. Though she is still growing within the professional field, her passion for design and commitment to continuous improvement have shaped her into a thoughtful, driven, and detail-oriented creative.

Erin began building her foundation in design at St. Louis Community College, where she earned her Associate’s degree in Graphic Communications in 2015. There, she developed a strong understanding of layout, typography, production processes and the core principles that guide effective visual communication--as well as an in depth understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator--. She later expanded her creative focus at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Animation in 2020. Studying animation strengthened her storytelling abilities, motion sensibilities, and conceptual thinking — skills that continue to influence her graphic design and illustration work today.

Currently, Erin works at Mark’s Quick Printing in St. Louis, Missouri, where she has spent the past nine months gaining hands-on experience in print production and client-focused design. Working in a fast-paced print environment has sharpened her technical skills, refined her eye for detail, and reinforced the importance of clear communication and precision. This real-world experience allows her to design not only with creativity in mind, but with practicality and execution at the forefront.

Erin’s signature style is dynamic and vibrant, often characterized by bold color choices and energetic compositions. However, her work is always grounded in the Principles of Design and Composition. She believes that strong design is more than just visually appealing — it must be purposeful, balanced, and thoughtfully constructed. By combining creativity with structure, she creates designs that are aesthetically pleasing while effectively communicating their intended message.
